Authorities in Coweta County are on the hunt for a man accused of a double stabbing that occurred in the early hours of Friday. Deputies responded to a distressful 911 call around 3:30 a.m. and upon arrival at a residence on Lucious Johnson Road, they discovered two individuals, a man and a woman, with stab wounds, FOX 5 Atlanta reported.
The suspect, identified as Felix Holloway, fled the scene on foot before law enforcement could apprehend him. Despite deploying K-9 units and drones to aid in their search, as of now, Holloway remains at large. Officers believe he could be taking shelter at the home of a family member, given his extensive family ties in the area, WSB-TV reported.
While the identities of the victims have not been released, they have been taken to an area hospital with injuries said to be non-life-threatening. Details surrounding the motive for the stabbing have not been disclosed by investigators, who continue to delve into the circumstances leading up to the violent altercation.
The Coweta County Sheriff's Office is now urging anyone with knowledge of Holloway's whereabouts to step forward. Investigator C. Stapler is the point of contact for any possible leads, available via email at [email protected] or by phone at 770-253-1502. The community's assistance, the officials hope, will help bring closure to an act of violence, shaken the local populace," told authorities to FOX 5 Atlanta.
