FOX 5 reported that the Marietta Fire Department had to block off all entrances to the complex after the roof caved in, deeming the building a "total loss."
Drone footage shared by local drone operator Drake Battle captured the extensive damage wrought by the fire. For the residents, many desperate to even quickly retrieve their belongings, the fire was a swift calamity that uprooted lives and left many in shock. "One moment, you're chilling and jamming in the car. Fresh, new tattoo. Next thing, everything you own is up in smoke," McKayla Clark told FOX 5, a resident of the complex.
