According to a post by the MBTA Transit Police, the incident occurred around 6 a.m. on February 13 and was conducted by a suspect who, after assaulting the victim with the cigarette, also displayed the knife threateningly they have released a photo of a person of interest and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The Transit Police have assured potential tipsters that they can remain anonymous when reaching out to the Criminal Investigations Unit at 617-222-1050 with any pertinent information regarding the suspect.
