A man has been nabbed by law enforcement for allegedly pointing and firing a gun during a dispute, authorities said. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office raced to a reported disturbance in the 7600 block of Foxwaithe Lane on February 25, where they quickly detained the suspect, identified as Milo Harris.
Harris, who has a previous felony conviction, is accused of aiming a pistol at the complainant and pulling the trigger, the bullets narrowly missing the complainant’s feet. According to a Facebook post by Constable Herman's office, the disturbance call led to the alarming discovery.
In the wake of the altercation, Harris was hauled off to Harris County Jail. Constable Mark Herman confirmed, "Milo Harris was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault and Felon in Possession of a Firearm." The severity of the charges against him was substantiated by the set bond terms—a hefty $75,000 for the assault charge alone, with additional proceedings pending from the 338th District Court for the weapons violation.
