Tonight's weather is set to shift slightly, introducing more cloud coverage and a low hovering around 30 degrees. Southeast wind will settle between 5 to 10 mph. The mild trend is expected to continue through the weekend, with the Saturday forecast showing mostly cloudy skies making way for gradual sunshine, with the thermometer peaking near 47 degrees.

By Sunday, the city is slated to bask under mostly sunny conditions again with a high approaching 46 and a gentle east northeast breeze stirring at about 5 mph.
An oscillation between partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies will mark the start of the new week, with Monday's high set to flirt with the upper 40s and winds shifting from north to south southeast in the afternoon. Come Monday night, though, the clouds will gather once more, bringing with them a low around 32 degrees. By Tuesday, Minneapolitans can anticipate mostly sunny skies once again, with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 52 degrees, as south winds pick up to a speed of 10 to 15 mph.
As the week progresses, the possibility of rain enters the forecast. Wednesday will start with mostly cloudy skies and a high once more near 51, with a south southeast wind at 10 to 15 mph. By Wednesday night, there's a 30 percent chance of rain and increased cloud cover, with a low around 43 degrees. Rain chances will ramp up to 50 percent by Thursday, with temperatures holding steady as the week progresses.
