A normal Sunday evening in northeast Austin turned chaotic when a major collision involving four vehicles occurred, injuring multiple people. The crash took place at the intersection of East Howard Lane and Harris Branch Parkway shortly before 6 p.m., leaving six hospitalized with potentially serious injuries, according to KXAN.
Just before the clock struck six, an intersection usually humming with the soundtrack of commuting families and folks winding down the weekend turned into a siren-filled scene. Austin-Travis County EMS reported that out of the ten individuals involved, two adults and two teenagers had to be rushed to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center. In tow, two other adults were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center, everyone with injuries that could threaten the fabric of their lives, as per KXAN.
The event is described as a "Major Collision" at the aforementioned intersection. The post also mentioned that among the ten persons involved, four refused EMS services and were uninjured – escaping without the touch of tragedy that had brushed their fellow travelers, as reported by the Austin-Travis County EMS.
