Orange County fire crews battled a blaze last night in the suburbs of Mission Viejo, where a residential fire erupted in the 24000 block of Delos, authorities reported. The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) arrived at the scene to find a house significantly engulfed in flames, with thick smoke bellowing from the structure.
The fire, which was made known through an OCFA X post, forced a male resident to confront the choking fumes until rescue services could provide treatment for smoke inhalation; the individual declined further medical attention, foregoing transport to the hospital.
