Philadelphia police are on the hunt for two suspects linked to an arson case in the city's 14th District, following a fire that was set inside a commercial property on Lancaster Avenue. In the early hours of January 9, the pair allegedly started a blaze that later extinguished itself, only to return and reignite the flames before firefighters could put an end to their dangerous game, according to surveillance footage released by local authorities.
The suspects managed to conceal their identities, with the first individual sporting a dark baseball cap, possibly a NY Yankees one, and a zippered jacket adorned with logos. A shirt with an obscure face and writing completed the suspect's outfit. The other suspect, dressed in a darker hoodie also emblazoned with indistinct writing, took turns wearing a red bandana to cover their face, footage showed. The getaway car, described as a light colored Honda CRV, featuring a distinctive black fuel filler door, presumably aftermarket or missing, was also caught on camera.
