Lake Elsinore, CA – In a disturbing sequence of events, Riverside authorities have apprehended a 20-year-old man for multiple sexual assault charges involving minors. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Emilio Ronquillo, a Riverside resident, was first taken into custody after a juvenile runaway was safely returned home. The investigation that followed uncovered allegations of sexual assault against the minor during the period in which the suspect allegedly harbored them.
Despite being arrested and booked into jail for the initial charges, Ronquillo managed to secure his release by posting bail, only to find himself on the wrong side of the law again. A second juvenile came forward in January, imparting another harrowing account of sexual assault by Ronquillo. On February 16, 2024, authorities arrested him and charged him with multiple felony sexual assault charges with a minor and committing a felony while out on bail.
