The February 14th sting operation, which involved multiple agencies including the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Detective Bureau and the Specialized Enforcement Division, led to the seizure of 58 firearms, ammunition, and proceeds from narcotic sales. Suspects William Robertson, a 67-year-old Joshua Tree resident, and George Gladden, 50, were arrested on multiple charges, including Felon in Possession of Firearms, and Possession of Narcotics for Sale. Bail for both men was set at a steep $700,000 each.
