
In a distressing incident on Sunday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash in Mustang Ridge, Texas, resulted in seven people, three of them children, being rushed to the hospital with injuries, officials said. Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) responded to the scene near Highway 130 on Old Lockhart Highway at approximately 4 p.m., where one individual was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated and was declared a trauma alert following the crash, according to KVUE.
The aftermath of the collision had ATCEMS dispatching one adult to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center and another to Dell Seton Medical Center, with the three children sustaining potentially serious injuries being sent to Dell Children’s Medical Center for treatment, as reported by FOX 7 Austin.
The two additional adults who suffered minor injuries were also transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, as per FOX 7 Austin.
