The ride, stretching across 590-feet, will feature free-spinning seats mounted on a massive board that glides across a wavy track, culminating in a dramatic dive through a splash pad, as FOX 5 Atlanta detailed.
Set to open this summer, the Georgia Surfer will be the park's 13th coaster, increasing the park's standing as a prime destination for adrenaline junkies. Spencer Lucas, the park's Operations Director, expressed his excitement for the upcoming attraction, "We’d like to thank our fans for the overwhelming response to our coaster announcement and naming campaign. We’ve been blown away by the hype surrounding this new attraction, we can’t wait for everyone to experience Georgia Surfer this summer," as he told WRDW.
