The Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD) responded to reports of a collision at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Williams Drive. The accident claimed the life of a 67-year-old man from Stockton.

The victim was discovered in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the gray 2021 Tesla Model Y involved in the accident was a 33-year-old male from Huntington Beach. The pedestrian was attempting to cross Beach Boulevard at Williams Drive, reportedly outside the designated crosswalk. Struck in the #2 lane of southbound Beach Boulevard near the intersection, his life came to an untimely end, as per the Hunting Beach Police Department.
