Two men have found themselves behind bars following a coin-operated machine burglary at the Rub a Dub Car Wash in the 12600 block of Louetta Road. Deputy Munoz with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to a theft call from the business, which led to the apprehension of the duo on Monday, according to a social media release from the Precinct 4 Constable's Office.
Investigators discovered that one of the apprehended men was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for the sale of amphetamines and by the Pardons and Parole for a weapons offense. His accomplice was no stranger to the law either, revealed to have an open warrant for Failure to Stop and Give Information. The names of the suspects have not been released at this time.
The duo's decision to target a car wash's coin machine was their undoing when law enforcement intervened. After being caught in the act of burglarizing the machine, their past legal troubles quickly caught up to them.
Details of the burglary and subsequent investigation were posted on Precinct 4's Facebook page.
