A routine traffic stop by a Sergeant from Constable Mark Herman's Office turned into the arrest of two individuals wanted on multiple misdemeanor warrants. The incident occurred on February 20th, when a vehicle was pulled over in the 16600 block of Dry Creek Falls. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Donald E. Jenkins, a man with several outstanding warrants.
During the stop, chaos ensued as a female, later identified as Johnell Hickman, approached the scene and began to actively interfere. Despite multiple warnings to desist, she continued to disrupt the proceedings by shouting at the officer, redirecting their attention from the traffic stop. It was later discovered that Hickman herself was wanted on multiple open misdemeanor warrants.
In a report obtained by Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page, both Jenkins and Hickman were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on the strength of their open warrants. The report did not include details regarding the suspect's bond or court appearances.
"Donald Jenkins and Johnell Hickman was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, for the open warrants. Their bond and court information have not been set at this time," stated Constable Mark Herman. The duo's legal proceedings will unfold as the justice system processes the details of their cases.
