Williamson County, in partnership with the City of Jarrell, puts shovels in the ground to pave the way for smoother rides and safer drives with the kickoff of the CR 332 expansion project. A ceremony on February 5 marked the start of a project that promises to revamp County Road 332 from roughly a quarter mile south of Farm to Market 487 to nearly a third of a mile north of County Road 313. The reconstruction includes transitioning CR 332 into a two-lane roadway, complete with shoulders, drawing broad community support.
Efforts to iron out treacherous curves and bulking up infrastructure come in response to longstanding demands for improved transportation safety and fluidity in the area. Commissioner Russ Boles, representing Precinct 4, emphasizes the project's anticipated impact, saying, "This is a great road safety project for the people of Jarrell," and adding, "I believe parents should have dinner with their families, not stuck in traffic."
