The driver of the Volt was pronounced dead at the scene as the sole occupant of the vehicle, and her identity had not been released at the time of reporting. The 47-year-old man from Auburn, driving the Silverado, sustained injuries described as non-life-threatening, according to Saginaw Township Police Chief Scott Malace in an email obtained by ABC12. He was transported to MyMichigan Health in Midland by Mobile Medical Response.

The collision, which occurred shortly after 10 a.m., remains under investigation by the Saginaw Township Police Department.
