The quest to apprehend the perpetrator behind a deadly 2022 shooting at a Clayton County apartment complex remains steadfast as local law enforcement continues to canvass for leads. The incident, which occurred at The Park at Leeds Apartments on Riverdale Road, claimed the life of 19-year-old Kiyre Allen, while leaving four others wounded.
On that fateful night of August 13, 2022, shortly before 11 p.m., Clayton County Police were dispatched to the scene near Building K where they discovered Allen, a recent graduate of Creekside High School, and popularly known as Mr. Creekside according to an interview with FOX 5, dead from gunshot wounds; those present were reportedly a group of aspiring entertainers gathered together before gunfire erupted, purportedly over a confrontation about a stolen dirt bike.
With the case remaining open and active, authorities are persistently reaching out for assistance from the public. Both Atlanta News First and FOX 5 have reported on the continued efforts by the Clayton County police to gather information that could finally lead to an arrest.
