Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Southern Oaks Boulevard on the evening of March 1 following reports of gunfire, as they arrived at around 8:50 p.m., a 16-year-old male was discovered with gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the young victim succumbed to his injuries. The name of the teenager has been withheld due to his minor status. This tragic incident has been registered under case number 034761-2024. The Dallas Police Department has not yet released further details about the possible motive or suspects involved in the shooting.
