
A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured in Dublin yesterday morning after a vehicle struck him while he was riding his bicycle. The Dublin Police responded to the incident at the intersection of Davona Drive and Chatam Street at approximately 8:05 a.m. The juvenile, whose name has been withheld, was transported to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland for treatment of significant injuries sustained in the collision.
According to the Dublin Police Department's official X account, the young boy was traveling westbound on Davona Drive, close to Chatam Street when an eastbound vehicle hit him. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene following the accident and is said to cooperate with authorities. Investigators have ruled out drugs or alcohol as contributing factors in this harrowing event.
