An urgent appeal to the public has been issued regarding the disappearance of 22-year-old Maliyah Thomas, who was last seen in East Palo Alto over two weeks ago. The California Highway Patrol disseminated an EBONY ALERT early Monday to aid in locating the young woman.

She was said to be wearing blue leggings, orange "Nike" shorts, a beige puffy jacket, and was carrying a burgundy purse. Thomas is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
