
An early morning traffic collision in Pomona has left one man dead and caused significant disruptions in the area. The incident occurred at around 5:40 AM near the intersection of Towne Ave and Bonita Ave, according to the Pomona Police Department. Officials reported that a pedestrian, a male adult who has yet to be identified, was struck by a vehicle.
The emergency responders, who arrived promptly at the scene, discovered the victim lying in the traffic lanes, desperately needing medical attention. Despite the life-saving efforts performed by the LA County Fire Department, the victim unfortunately succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital. The driver involved in the collision was found to be sober and cooperated with authorities, remaining at the scene.

Motorists have been advised to steer clear of the area to avoid disruption.
