An early morning traffic collision in Pomona has left one man dead and caused significant disruptions in the area. The incident occurred at around 5:40 AM near the intersection of Towne Ave and Bonita Ave, according to the Pomona Police Department. Officials reported that a pedestrian, a male adult who has yet to be identified, was struck by a vehicle.
The emergency responders, who arrived promptly at the scene, discovered the victim lying in the traffic lanes, desperately needing medical attention. Despite the life-saving efforts performed by the LA County Fire Department, the victim unfortunately succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital.
