Tasked with investigating the incidences on NCTD property, the Sheriff's Transit Enforcement Unit (TEU) was dispatched to unravel the details surrounding the fatal incident. As part of the standard procedure following such tragic events, the Medical Examiner's Office is also involved, charged with the identification of the deceased and determining the exact cause and manner of death.

The identity of the victim has yet to be disclosed, pending notification of next-of-kin.
