Detroit is revving up for a bumper-to-bumper weekend of festivities suited to gearheads, tattoo enthusiasts, LEGO lovers, treasure hunters, and families alike. Detroit's agenda is packed with the 71st annual Meguiar’s Detroit Autorama, the 28th Annual Motor City Tattoo Expo, and the family favorite PAW Patrol Live!, alongside other noteworthy events from March 1-3.

As Detroit Free Press reports, Autorama will put over 800 custom vehicles on display, including exotic hot rods and a tribute to the stunt wizard Evel Knievel, complete with three of his daredevil vehicles. Fans might also get a thrill from seeing five different renditions of Batmobiles and GM's golden Chevy. Set at Huntington Place, the event will feature rock icon Dee Snider and Noel G "Hector" from the "Fast and Furious." Tickets go for $27 for adults and $10 for children, with discounts available at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Tattoo lovers can get their fill at the annual Motor City Tattoo Expo hosted at the Renaissance Center. According to Fox 2 Detroit, "Dozens of artists will be showing off their work" and performing live ink sessions. The expo is expected to bring more than 300 artists and a kaleidoscope of vendors, seminars, and contests. Tickets start at $30, with weekend passes scaling up to $70.

For those infatuated with the interlocking brick universe, the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi will host Brick Fest Live. As BNNbreaking highlights, the event will feature life-size models and a lineup of stars from the popular TV show Lego Masters. Offering plenty of hands-on activities, tickets to this builder's paradise start at $19.99.

Furthermore, Warren welcomes Shipshewana On the Road, a traveling marketplace that's all about unique buys—from handcrafted goods to kitschy collectibles. Operating out of Macomb County Sports & Expo Center, the event promises a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for all ages, with children younger than 12 entering free of charge, and adult tickets floating at $5. Meanwhile, kids and their families can embark on a 'Great Pirate Adventure' with PAW Patrol Live at the Fox Theatre, where heroic pups will save the day through catchy tunes and action-packed choreography. Timing for the heroic pups is set for various showtimes throughout the weekend.

With a lineup that caters to an eclectic audience, Detroit is positioned as not just the car capital but also a vibrant cultural hub, highlighting its broad appeal to both residents and visitors this weekend.
