Little League season is in full swing in East Aldine. The local deputies have once more donned their blue to foster a sense of community, as they led the processions for the Little League opening day parades. In a display of tradition and community spirit, the Northside Little League on Canino & Hardy and the NHA at Cromwell & Hardy were lined with uniformed officers.
The event hailed as an opportunity for law enforcement to bond with youngsters, has become a much-anticipated community fixture. Not just securing the streets, these deputies were seen exchanging high-fives and words of encouragement with the young players. As Lieutenant Mike Santos of the Harris County Sheriff's Office posted following the event, "It’s a great time each year, bonding with the kids and opening day!!"

While the pomp and circumstance of marching bands and bright uniforms captured the attention of onlookers, behind the scenes, the deputies worked tirelessly to ensure safety.
