Two 14-year-old boys are in hot water following a brazen vehicle theft and a subsequent foot chase by law enforcement in Harris County, Texas. Authorities managed to nab the youngsters after a traffic stop turned into a pursuit on foot last week.

According to the Constable's Office, deputies tried to pull over the stolen vehicle on the 24100 block of Lone Elm Drive on March 13. The driver and a passenger decided to abruptly bolt from the car and attempt to evade capture on foot. Constables were quick to give chase and catch them both—two teenage juveniles whose names have not been disclosed due to their age.

The incident took a more serious turn once deputies discovered that the youngsters had allegedly snatched the vehicle just an hour before being stopped. Law enforcement later confirmed that "Both juvenile males were arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with Theft." as detailed in a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman.

Details on the case remain scarce, with the investigation still pending.
