
Houston police are on the hunt for clues after a man was fatally shot in the street last Friday night. The shooting took place at approximately 10 p.m. on Safeguard Street, where the 24-year-old victim's body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds.
Law enforcement responded to the incident at 11100 Safeguard Street, where they found the man unresponsive. Announcing the arrival of Houston Fire Department paramedics, they pronounced the male deceased at the scene. The identity of the man, a 24-year-old, remains pending as the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has yet to verify it.
A preliminary investigation suggests that two vehicles, a white SUV and a black four-door sedan, were seen leaving the area shortly after the gunshots were heard. As it stands, detectives have not released any suspect descriptions, leaving the community on edge and seeking answers.

Hughey, the evidence gathered at the scene is being thoroughly analyzed to piece together the events that led to the man's death. Still, there is much to be uncovered.
