Charles Emmanuel Cobb, a 42-year-old Indio man, was nabbed on suspicion of shattering the peace along with storefront windows in a series of calculated break-ins.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department's statement revealed the suspect's extensive run of criminal exploits, stretching out between February and March 2024. Cobb was chased down by a cohort of local law enforcement squadrons, including the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team and several units from the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station. With their powers combined, after extensive sleuthing, they managed to pinpoint Cobb's abode and, on March 19, swooped in for the cuffing.
While his neighbors likely slept, unaware, Cobb's house teemed with cops executing the search warrant, ending his alleged burglary binge.
