"We are committed to providing the highest level of safety day and night. The investment in these new vehicles will to surely enhance our officers' ability to implement safety while on duty," Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris told the press. These upgraded squad cars boast an advanced warning system and synchronized vehicle coordination to help cops respond more effectively to calls.
Specifically designed to reduce the disorienting glare of flashing lights on the scene, BluePRINT Sync technology can sync the flash patterns of multiple vehicles. This feature aims to alleviate the blinding effect that emergency lights can impose on both officers and citizens during night-time operations.
"The new Dodge vehicles are a representation and commitment to embracing state-of-the-art technology and improve the lives of our residents and public safety," Chief of Police, Rodrick Armalin, was quoted as saying. This move is part of Lancaster's larger strategy to equip its officers with contemporary tools and technology.
