The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 12-year-old girl, Angel Marie Birchfield, who was last seen on the 14100 block of South Corday Avenue in Hawthorne on the evening of March 26. Angel is a young Black female, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 167 lbs, with box braids and brown eyes, according to the LASD - Los Angeles County Sheriffs Dept Information Bureau.
Angel was wearing a brown turtleneck sweater, black jeans, and pink and black PUMA shoes at the time she went missing, she has family members who have expressed deep concern for her safety and well-being. Her potential destinations include Pasadena, Torrance, and the city of Hawthorne.
The Sheriff's Information Bureau is asking anyone who might have information regarding Angel's whereabouts to come forward and contact the South Los Angeles Station at (310) 820-6700 or to provide anonymous tips through "Crime Stoppers" by calling (800) 222-TIPS (8477), or by utilizing the "P3 Tips" mobile app or the Crime Stoppers website, as per the LASD - Los Angeles County Sheriffs Dept Information Bureau.
