Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim lying on the street with numerous gunshot wounds. His vehicle, parked nearby, also appeared to have been squarely aimed at, with bullet holes marking the passenger side. Despite swift action by the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics to rush the victim to the nearest hospital, he was pronounced dead, unable to overcome the severity of his injuries.
