Flames erupted in a converted garage in Watts yesterday, but Los Angeles Fire Department crews were quick to douse the blaze. The fire reported at 1304 E 107th St, filled a "back house" with smoke and was extinguished by the first 18 firefighters on the scene within a mere 12 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
This swift response was documented, noting that no injuries were reported as a result of the fire, which is said to quickly have been brought under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, ensuring to thoroughly examine how such an incident came to pass.

Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered the source of the flames in a back structure adapted for residential use behind the main house. Their prompt action prevented the fire from spreading beyond the initial location, as per the Los Angeles Fire Department.
