Fast-acting Los Angeles firefighters successfully battled a house fire in the Green Meadows area, preventing the blaze from spreading to nearby structures and averting injuries. According to a report by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), a fire erupted in a one-story single-family home located at 1150 E 105th St on the afternoon of March 13th.

The LAFD dispatch alerted units to the scene at approximately 3:28 PM, where they encountered a residence with fire showing and an adjacent structure threatened by the flames. Despite the danger, firefighters took an offensive mode to combat the fire. As per the initial alert, the assignment included multiple fire stations and specialized squads, such as Battalion Chiefs and Rescue Ambulance teams, ready to tackle the emergency.

Within a remarkable 13 minutes of their arrival, the first 16 firefighters on the scene managed to execute an aggressive interior attack, containing and extinguishing the fire in its room of origin. This rapid response, detailed in a follow-up knockdown report by the LAFD, ensured that no other structures were harmed and no injuries were reported in the incident.

Fulfilling their duty with efficiency and bravery, the crews deployed hose lines, and made access to the burning home, showcasing the department's readiness for prompt and effective action in times of crisis. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, by the authorities, with details yet to emerge on what may have sparked the dangerous situation. The house fire in question took place within the jurisdiction of Council District 8 and was attended by several firefighting units, including Engine 65 and Truck 64.
