An early morning calm was shattered by gunfire in Northeast, D.C., leaving a man dead, the Metropolitan Police Department confirms. Homicide detectives are now piecing together the tragic event that unfolded on Friday, March 22, just after 2 a.m. on the 300 block of 59th Street.
