
A man is in critical condition after a shooting occurred at a DeKalb County townhouse in the early hours of Friday morning. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the DeKalb County Police Department reported that the incident took place around 1:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Prince of Wales in Stone Mountain.
Authorities discovered the man with multiple gunshot wounds upon their arrival at the scene. Emergency responders transported the victim to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was said to be fighting for his life. The identity of the man, has not yet been released.
Officers, along with a K-9 unit, canvassed the area searching for any leads or evidence. As of now, the police have not made any arrests or identified a suspect. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and investigators are working to determine what precipitated the violent encounter.
