A deadly episode unfolded in front of a Vermont Vista sports bar on Sunday night when gunfire claimed the life of one man and left another wounded, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The shooting occurred just before 10 p.m., on the 12000 block of South Figueroa Street, where officers found a 31-year-old man struck by gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene with a second victim, a 42-year-old man, also hit, and subsequently transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The LAPD South Bureau Homicide detectives are vigorously searching for the unknown assailant responsible for the bloodshed, currently, no suspect descriptions have been provided, and the motive behind this violent encounter remains uncertain, and the detectives are calling for anybody with information to come forward to help them clear this case.
