A manhunt is underway in Bibb County for Darion Hudson, an armed suspect who barricaded himself in a home with three children before making a slippery escape. After a tense standoff, Bibb County Sheriff's deputies have issued an all-out search for Hudson, who, fraught with emergency response, managed to evade capture.
Hudson, who now faces multiple charges, was reportedly involved in an armed standoff inside a Comer Terrace home, according to Atlanta News First and WGXA News. As the crisis unfolded, the three children found themselves at the epicenter of danger, later located unharmed inside the residence. Charged with aggravated assault-family violence, cruelty to children-family violence, and false imprisonment, Hudson's whereabouts are currently a mystery, with deputies hot on his trail.
Authorities are doubling down on efforts to apprehend the wanted man, who is not only facing charges in Bibb County but also carries outstanding warrants in DeKalb County for criminal property damage and battery.
