The lake's rehabilitation is noteworthy in the context of Minnesota's battle with polluted waters. The state currently lists a staggering 6,350 water bodies as impaired, with only a fraction of those—212, to be precise—successfully cleaned up and removed from the list. The majority of these troubled waters still falter under the weight of pollution and ecosystem imbalance, but Fish Lake has managed to swim against the current, according to the CityofMapleGrove, MN.
