Now, crews are hitting the streets, sidewalks, and bike facilities once again, looking to plow residential streets to full width wherever possible. Any unlucky spots hit with localized flooding or other snow-related issues should be flagged up to 311 or by contacting Elliott's office directly.

Minneapolis Public Works is looking to put the brakes on risky driving by implementing traffic calming treatments in 2024. Particularly, areas like NE Polk St and SE 8th Ave are in the spotlight for potential safety overhauls. Possible solutions on the table include bollards, speed humps, traffic circles, and median islands, all aimed at mollifying that pesky neighborhood speed traffic. Circle your calendars for the public meeting on Thursday, April 11th from 5-6 PM at Van Cleve Recreation Center to toss in your two cents.
