
After nearly a year on the run, a Northwest D.C. man has been cuffed and collared in connection to a shooting that left one injured, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department. The incident, which took place last April in broad daylight, had the Third District officers racing to the scene after shots were fired on Gresham Place.
The suspect, 48-year-old Adrian Terrence Lee, found himself staring down the barrel of justice on Friday, March 22, 2024 as the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force slapped the cuffs on him, the man now faces assault charges, Lee, whose last known address was in Northwest D.C. didn't slip away this time; he was hit with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon as stated in a Metropolitan Police Department press release.
The April 2023 shooting took a heavy toll on the local community. Officers who swooped in on the 700 block of Gresham Place found the victim, an adult male, wounded from gunfire. Fortunately, his injuries were not serious, and he received prompt medical care at an area hospital.
