A Monroe County woman is under arrest following a foiled kidnapping attempt near High Falls State Park. The incident took place on the afternoon of February 19 at about 4:30 p.m., where deputies were summoned to investigate a report of an attempted kidnapping. As a result, Sheriff's deputies managed to locate a vehicle in the park's vicinity, which led to the arrest of the suspect several days later, on February 27.
According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the suspect in custody is identified as Kara Grace Christopher, a resident of Perry. Taking swift action after the call, officials soon found Christopher's car, implicating her in the crime.
Christopher is now facing charges related to the kidnapping, as reported by WGXA News. She is currently being held without bond, though the particulars of the attempted abduction itself still remain tightly under wraps, as the authorities have not revealed any further details.
