Police are on the lookout for two suspects involved in a theft at a South Street sneaker store on New Year's Eve, as captured by surveillance footage. The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 PM when two unidentified individuals, described as black males, entered the Snipes store located at 417 South Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The suspects were seen on video as they, once inside, browsed through the racks, selecting several items. Displaying a nonchalant demeanor, they subsequently exited the store without rendering payment for the goods in hand. The stolen items, yet to be detailed in terms of their value and specificity, are part of what the police are seeking to recover, as per the Philadelphia Police Department.
In what has become a routine appeal for public assistance, the authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward. The footage from the store's surveillance system has been made available online in a bid to identify the perpetrators of this brazen theft.
