Biden and Varadkar underlined the pivotal role these institutions hold in safeguarding the triumphs of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement. With Northern Ireland's delicate peace sustained, the two expressed a unified commitment to building a robust future for bilateral relations.
The conversation also turned to the transition of leadership in Ireland, as the President conveyed his anticipation for working with a new Taoiseach once elected by the Dáil.
