According to a public statement by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, the incident took place just after 3:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Via Manzanas when at least two suspects, upon being confronted by the owner, discharged firearms then they fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
The alarming encounter led to a fortunate yet miraculous outcome, as the vehicle's owner emerged unscathed, defying the odds as bullets tore through living spaces, perforating multiple walls within the home.
