Seattle's law enforcement is on the hunt for a serial bank robber believed to be responsible for a string of heists stretching over recent months, and they're calling on the public to help reel this slippery fish in. The suspect, whose image has been making the rounds courtesy of the SPD Robbery Detectives and the FBI Sound Regional Violent Crimes Task Force, hit a bank in North Seattle on March 22nd, and the pattern has become all too familiar: a note passed, a demand made, money taken, no violence, no spectacle.
The police are keeping their cards close to their chest, but with each bank hit, the frustration grows, and so does the pile of evidence they hope will lead to the suspect's apprehension they are analyzing surveillance footage, interviewing witnesses, piecing together the puzzle of the suspect's movements and methods. According to a Seattle Police Department Blotter release, "During the robberies, the suspect passes a note to a bank employee and demands money."
Officials are taking every avenue to snare the culprit, offering multiple ways for citizens to submit tips, even anonymously if that will loosen lips - any piece of information could be the thread that unravels this case.
