A Seattle man has been slapped with 14 counts of indecent exposure after a spate of flashing incidents, Seattle Police Department reports. The 34-year-old was nabbed by the Sexual Assault Unit detectives in Lake Forest Park on Thursday morning.
The creep first struck on January 2, terrorizing two young girls in the Magnolia neighborhood with his lewd act at the intersection of 28th Avenue West and West Smith Street. Despite a police search, the flasher slipped away. Over the weeks, the sicko struck repeatedly across the city, exposing himself to children after feigning to ask for directions.
Nevertheless, persistence paid off for the Sexual Assault Unit. A breakthrough came when footage from late February caught the suspect's vehicle on camera. Tipped by vigilant community members, detectives zeroed in on a vehicle linked to the suspect, eventually landing on the registered owner.
With more surveillance clips in hand, they matched the suspect to the disturbing scenes. When detectives descended on the man's residence, they found the incriminating clothes worn during his brazen displays. The suspect, who's also implicated in communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, was tossed into King County Jail, according to Seattle Police Department Blotter.
