
A robbery in Northeast D.C. was halted with the arrest of a suspect, the Metropolitan Police Department reported. The crime occurred late Monday night when a man was approached, assaulted, and robbed of personal property in a building hallway.
At around 11:45 p.m., on March 11th, in the stomping grounds of the 2300 block of 4th Street, Northeast, the suspect decided to quickly approach and lay into the victim. After snatching the victim's belongings, the suspect made a break for it, though police caught up to the alleged perpetrator the following day.
On Tuesday, law enforcement tracked down 25-year-old James Norris from Clinton, MD. He was later charged with robbery involving force and violence. The MPD release specifies the details of the arrest following the incident. Norris will now have to face the legal consequences of his alleged actions as the legal process unfolds.
