A quiet Temecula neighborhood turned grim Sunday night as deputies found a 63-year-old man fatally stabbed on Moreno Road, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The victim, a Caucasian male whose identity hasn't been publicly disclosed, was attacked with a deadly weapon just before 9:20 p.m., prompting an urgent call to local authorities.

Emergency responders rushed to the 41000 block of Moreno Road quickly to try and fully save the man's life, providing first aid before transporting him to a local medical center. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The details around the incident remain scant, but officers did detain and question a 53-year-old woman connected to the case. She was later released, with no additional suspects currently being sought.
