Law enforcement is calling on the public to aid in the identification of two suspects videotaped swiping a car from a supermarket parking lot in Texas last month. The theft, which took place at a HEB store in Fairfield, saw the culprits taking a 2019 Hyundai in broad daylight, as shown on surveillance footage.

Constable Mark Herman's deputies quickly responded to the scene at the 28500 block of the Northwest Freeway on February 16, upon receiving reports of the incident. Two black males were spotted on camera committing the vehicular heist, confirmed by the constable’s office. The suspects, both in their 20s, left in separate vehicles—one in the stolen Hyundai and the other in an unknown make and model.

Apart from the car theft, these individuals also attempted to hijack a second vehicle but failed to gain entry. Grizzy's Hood News, citing Constable Herman's appeal, urged anyone with information to come forward. In a statement shared with the public, Herman emphasized, "If you have any information regarding this case or the identity of these suspects, you are urged to send us a message or contact our dispatch at 281-376-3472."

As the investigation proceeds, the Fairfield community remains on alert for any signs of the missing gray Hyundai or the unidentified getaway vehicle. The constables have yet to report any significant leads in recovering the stolen car or in apprehending the suspects.
