Authorities responded to the crash on Thomas Springs Road near the intersection with Blue Hill Drive shortly before 7 a.m, ccording to CBS Austin.

The patients were promptly taken to St. David's South Austin Medical Center; one suffered from life-threatening injuries while the other sustained injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
