
Tragedy struck southwest Austin early Friday morning when two individuals were involved, in a head-on collision that ended with one of the vehicles engulfed in flames. Authorities responded to the crash on Thomas Springs Road near the intersection with Blue Hill Drive shortly before 7 a.m, ccording to CBS Austin.

First responders from Austin-Travis County EMS rushed to the scene where they found two adults in need of urgent medical care due to the serious nature of the incident. The patients were promptly taken to St. David's South Austin Medical Center; one suffered from life-threatening injuries while the other sustained injuries deemed non-life-threatening. The dire situation was met with swift action, illustrating the unpredictable dangers that can arise on our roads.
